Monday morning and still the same old same old with the President getting ready to launch his new budget which which should give us a few weeks of entertainment with the Reps running off at the mouth and the Dems standing on the other side of the playground shouting unkind remarks. Wonder how we would live without it.
Guess the american people spent the weekend watching all the news about the Oscars including Slumdog whcih won 8 oscars. Now that is really getting down and dirty with stupidity in this country. Of course the people in Hollywood can't be expected to really understand what is going on in this country unless they got hooked by the Wall street King pin who stole the fifty billion dollars or maybe they got hooked by Stanford. Anyway what they do really doesn't matter in the long run.
Pet peeve of the day has to be the dumb asses still using checks at a check out counter especially at a large store with hndreds of people waiting in line. People, move into the 21st century and get a debit card. worth its weight in gold in time and convenience. Slide it through the machine, punch in your code, you're done. Need gas find a station that has self serve with pumps that accept cards and stick it in and pull it out. Pump your gas and go on your way. At the end of the day you can log on line and check your balance and it shoud reflect what you spent that day, now you don't have to wait for checks to clear the banks.
Not safe? Bull, not safe is having a piece of paper out there with your address, drivers license number and usually your social security number on it floating around. Hey the people working behind the counters of these convenience stores aren't there because they are smart.
